Life in Messiah: Full Circle Ministry

Sometimes the Lord gives a “full-circle” moment - when a seed planted decades ago suddenly bears visible fruit. In this update from Life in Messiah Ministries, a simple glance at the cover of The Bridge sparks a remarkable connection and reminds us that every tract shared, every conversation started, and every step of obedience matters - often far beyond what we can see…

“That’s Wes Taber!” Neal said, pointing to the cover of The Bridge magazine.

Max was surprised. A Gentile believer who had recently joined Life in Messiah (LIFE) as field staff, he was building prayer and financial partnerships and had invited Neal, an older Jewish believer, to join his team. Max was delighted when Neal said yes.

Wanting to share LIFE’s history, Max showed him an issue of The Bridge featuring a ministry timeline. He never expected the look of recognition on Neal’s face when he saw Wes Taber, LIFE’s former Executive Director.

“He was the one who gave me my first gospel tract at a beach outreach,” Neal said.

Neal explained that while in college in 1975, an American Messianic Fellowship (AMF) tract was the first step God used in bringing him to faith in Jesus.

(AMF was the ministry’s name from 1953–1993.)

At the time, the ministry headquarters sat on Chicago’s north side among many Jewish residents. Each afternoon Wes and his wife Lori went out together, using the AMF “L’chaim” tract to begin conversations with people relaxing outdoors.

One of those people was Neal.

That brief encounter became the first “domino” in his journey to faith in Yeshua.

After hearing the story, Max contacted Wes. Nearly fifty years after their short meeting, the two men reconnected - the planter and the one who eventually believed. Today Neal partners with a new generation of Life in Messiah staff to share the gospel with his own people.

God has brought this story full circle - and countless others are still unfolding. Every seed planted and every step taken in obedience matters. You may never know your full impact this side of heaven, but our Father is faithfully drawing the lost sheep of the house of Israel back to His fold.
