The conference was held in Paris with around 90 participants from across Europe. Several shared reports on how October 7, 2023, had impacted their countries, and a common theme was the rise in antisemitism and the growing sense of insecurity among Jewish communities.

On December 10, 2015, the Vatican’s Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews released a document titled, “The Gifts and Calling of God Are Irrevocable” marking the fiftieth anniversary of Catholic-Jewish dialogues known as the ‘Nostra Aetate,” launched in 1965 by the Second Vatican Council.
